Niice!

I just felt like it could have used a sort of breakbeat drum line to help keep the flow. But the synths are mixed very well. Good luck in the contest!!

EnigmaticWolf responds:

I agree with your assessment.

Thank you for your honest opinion and for listening to this song.

Very nice!

Crispy sounds, suspensful bells, well balanced, Just wish it had a couple bass drops, but thats jsut me. Congrats, and good luck in the Halloween2010 contest! :D

death-is-forever responds:

Thanks man, I appreciate the review. :) Glad you liked it.

and yeah... bass drops would have been nice, why didn't I think of that? haha

I like it,

So far, it;s good, but unless this is going to be a quite lengthy song, the looping melody synth piano is rath repetitive. I like the percussion, but I feel its really missing a syncopated bass! Keep working on this, and u'll get your 10.

lackofintelligence responds:

ill extend it reeeaaal good ;D and ill make sure to use some bass too! :)

Good Quality!

I was honestly a bit skeptical from your inbox notice, but the samples are of good quality. Personally I find that sliding beep thing a little annoying, and the the main melody synth is much too quiet. My last peeve starts around 2:25. The entire song gets much louder right there, and the transition doesn't sound as smooth as I would have expected. I have to give you credit though. It sounds well mastered besides what is mentioned above. Keep up the good work! I'm expecting more good tracks to come :)

757irish responds:

Haha yea well the beeping sound i liked but your not the first to point out its annoying. But i had a problem with it overpowering the main lead so i had to make it louder but ill see if i can fix it. :) thnx for the review

Nice Variation!

It sounds like you spent a good amount of time on this with the different instrumentation and improvisation to the melody.

At times it sounded like a cross over between the basshunter song and "I Like to Move it, Move it"

The percussion could have changed up here and there, and to me a syncopated staccato (quarter note) bass line could enhanced the flow. 5/5 8.5/10

I like where you are heading with this. Keep experimenting with your melodies, and in no time you'll find some that sound fantastic! Keep it up!

killamnjaro responds:

Thanks!
I got so caught up in the sounds and melodies that i hadn't put that much thought into the percussion, ill get into that.

cool tunes

When will you finish?

My only complaint is that the bittrate is rather low... 128kbps? Also, to me its lacking a syncopated bass and the piano could be EQ'd to produce a high quality sound. I do like your synth loops however!

MegaMidget7 responds:

ill finish it when i can be bothered...haha
making songs is something i just do for fun in my spare time...thatnks for the comment.

I can hear it now! :D

Couldn't hear it before, but now I can! lol
Very nice. Did you play the guitar yourself?? If not, how did you make it?

Semaphore responds:

Thank you very much =)

I played all by myself on my keyboard, the guitar sounds are from NEXUS 2 VST

Its a shame,

That you don't have a real drummer to play :(

I think this is well put together. I didn't even realise you have so many genres of music on newgrounds here. All this needs is a solo, and about twice the length! lol. You should go back to this and extend it. 5/5 9/10

Jnr1114 responds:

Yeah. I like all music. I'll finish this soon. After my cousin gets over so we can finish it up. The solo comes right after then end of this demo. We have it all planned out :)
I would like a real drummer but. . .

Anyways, thanks for voting and rating!
